This webinar series aims to empower smaller rural communities that often face challenges in accessing and interpreting relevant community and economic development data.

December 12, 2023 – ETSI-BC is pleased to announce today that in the first phase of funding awards, 21 organizations across the Southern Interior of BC have been allocated over $608,000 in funding.

December 12, 2023 – Communities in the Southern Interior of British Columbia have a reason to celebrate this winter season. The Economic Trust of the Southern Interior (ETSI-BC) just announced the successful applicants of its Fall Funding Intake and has awarded over $522K in funding to support 27 projects that will help build and diversify the region’s economy.

June 29, 2023 – Communities in the Southern Interior of BC have something to celebrate this summer.  The Economic Trust of the Southern Interior (ETSI-BC) has just announced the successful applicants of its Spring Funding Intake, and awarded over $431,000 in funding to support 21 projects that will help build and diversify the region’s economy.  Project partners include local governments, First Nations and non-profit organizations in BC’s Southern Interior.

June 13, 2023 – We value your input and want to invite your organization to participate in a Regional Ground Transportation Study.  This study will help us better understand passenger transportation needs and opportunities in the Southern Interior of BC. We hope to identify all existing ground transportation in the region, with a focus on connections between Southern Interior BC communities and in rural areas not served by existing public transportation.

May 29, 2023 – The Economic Trust of the Southern Interior (ETSI-BC) is pleased to provide an update on the Forest Impact Recovery (FIR) Program, delivered with financial support from the Province of BC’s Rural Business and Community Recovery Initiative. This program aims to provide support to rural communities in the Southern Interior of BC facing ongoing changes in forest sector employment.
